WONDERFUL 2020 BUILT 18FT CLINKER AUXILIARY FISHING LUGGER

Built in 2020. Based on the Devon Beer, traditional wooden construction, clinker Larch planking, varnished hull and decks, Lister diesel, standing lugsail rig. New sole boards fitted 2024.

18ft 2020 built Traditional clinker fishing boat based on a Devon Beer Lugger, built by Peter Matheson of Clydeside Boat Builders, heavily constructed of clinker Larch planking, Lister diesel, standing lugsail rig, yard trailer, depth sounder and tillerpilot, vintage sails, a lovely traditional boat.

MECHANICAL
Lister air cooled 7.5hp inboard diesel engine (1967), shaft drive to 2 blade propeller. Fuel tank on engine. Reconditioned clutch and gearbox.

ELECTRICAL
1 x 12v battery with solar panel.

NAVIGATION
Nasa Clipper depth, Simrad TP10 tillerpilot.

SAFETY
Fire extinguisher, electric bilge pump, danbuoy.

DECK GEAR
Boat hook, anchor with chain, mooring warps and fenders.

TRAILER

Yard trailer.

SAILS
She has a standing lugsail rig with varnished Oregon pine mast and spars. Vintage sails from the 1940's including mainsail and jib.

FEATURES

Hull re-varnished each year and underwater sections antifouled.

REMARKS

"Girl Pat" was purchased by her current owners when new in 2020 from Clydeside Boat Builders who used materials left over when building a larger vessel. She is a much admired local boat.
