This is a beautiful and rare classic Glastron with a BMW B220 petrol engine and ZF leg. The boat has been completely restored, just about everything has been completely restored or replaced other than the leg which has had an oil change. The leg is slow on the downwards trim and drops slowly when the leg is left up. We think there is a sticking butterfly valve in the trim pump which may be sticking or worn. This is a great Hotel Boat business or it could just be used as a live aboard. There is no engine and shaft although one could be retro fitted if needed. The marina mooring is available with the boat subject to approval by the marina manager. She has always been a hotel boat and currently she makes around £10,000 a year but they are only charging around £100 a night for the whole boat which is pretty cheap. This Bruce Roberts 310 was built by the owner with input from Bruce himself as the plans needed modifying to take the lifting keel and the sail no. 1 was bought through Bruce also. She was inspected by Viking Maritime on completion in 1993 and we have a copy of that completion survey for any potential buyer to see. The owner still has the original drawings for the boat. The Gibsea 262 is a modern family cruising boat with plenty of space and accommodation with an aft double and the double upfront, plus 2 singles in the saloon.
